The sports world is still reeling from the news that the world record for fastest 100m run is held by world champion sprinter Usain Bolt, with Usain currently holding the record for 100m in 2:57.56.
He is the only athlete to ever break that mark and was the first ever African to break the mark at the Olympics.
Bolt is now hoping to break another world record with his latest movie, the choice film, which he hopes will get him recognised in the same way as the other world champions, including Bolt himself.
“I want to be recognised as a world champion, not just a sprinter.
It’s going to be a big challenge,” Bolt told The Sun.
“I’m not going to make excuses for what happened last year but I’ve had a good run of training and I feel like I’m in good shape.”
This is a really important film for me.
I’m going to put my best foot forward and I want people to be impressed with me.
“It’s going be a film about how we all relate to each other.
We’re all about this idea of brotherhood and how you can be a champion, you can compete with anybody, but you have to work hard.”
You can never get away from yourself, you have got to stay positive.
I want to do that for the whole world.”
The film will focus on the relationship between Usain and the athletes, as well as Usain’s journey as he tries to beat the record, as he is known in the world.
The choice film will also be a part of the World Athletics Championships in the USA later this year, and will see Bolt and Usain face off for the title of best man.”
The choice movie is due out in November.”
The World Athletics Championship is the most prestigious event in the sport and I’m looking forward to seeing some of the athletes and seeing how they all get on with it.”
The choice movie is due out in November.
