The film “Panda”, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya and Tom Hanks, won the prestigious Palme d’Or for best picture at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday.
It was the first time a Pixar film has won an Oscar for best film since Pixar’s The Incredibles won in 1998.
The film is a story of a group of pandas who escape from their cages to help humans and humans help them.
The Oscar winners are:Jennifer Lawrence, Tom Hank and Zenday, who also won for best actress for their role in “Pandora”.
The film also won an Academy Award for best short documentary, for which it was presented by Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg.
“Panda” is the latest Pixar film to win a Best Picture Oscar nomination.
The studio won for The Incubator, a 2003 comedy, and for Inside Out, a 2015 Pixar animated feature.
