Meet the new film about the Oklahoma City bombing that was released today

“The Dark Messiah,” which premiered today at the Venice Film Festival, is a documentary about the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks that killed more than 3,000 people and injured over 2,000 more.

It’s the story of two friends, Tyler Durden and Adam Wurster, who both were friends with the twin brothers, Adam and Dario, who orchestrated the attacks.

The film, which is being directed by Alex Gibney and written by Mark Bomback and Jason Reitman, stars Matthew McConaughey as Durden, a lawyer with the U.S. Department of Justice, and Amy Adams as Wursters, a friend of the twins.

It was produced by the Warner Bros. Pictures-Universal Pictures banner and directed by Andrew Garfield.
